Abstract:

This paper examines the role of the State in the economic revitalization of infrastructure, starting from a historical reconstruction of its involvement in the development of the national infrastructure system. The study focuses on the multiple forms of public intervention, highlighting both the opportunities associated with such involvement and the related critical issues. In conclusion, it reflects on the possible future prospects of the relationship between the State and infrastructure development. 

Il contributo riflette sul ruolo dello Stato nel rilancio economico delle infrastrutture, muovendo da una ricostruzione storica della sua presenza nella predisposizione del sistema infrastrutturale nazionale. Il lavoro si sofferma sulle multipolari forme di intervento pubblico, ponendo in luce tanto i profili di opportunità connessi alla sua presenza quanto i relativi nodi critici, riflettendo, in chiave conclusiva, sulle possibili prospettive future del rapporto tra Stato e sviluppo infrastrutturale.
